Getting Started with MetaModels

Some basic things should be observed when getting started with MetaModels.

The “MetaModels” project is stable — but is still under continuous development. Despite unit tests and functional checks, data loss could still occur — so regular backups should be set up.

Checklist:

▢ Set up regular backups

▢ Contao installed as an LTS version with a matching MM version — for initial testing, bundle_start or bundle_all can be used, or more selectively just the MM core plus required attributes and filters

▢ Overview of which MM version is compatible with which Contao version

▢ Check for known errors/bugs e.g. on GitHub

▢ For problems or errors, consult the forum info

▢ For getting started, review the workflow and component info
